I think it is easy to part with things when you've spent a little time going without.
Knowing a little bit about film I can understand about the changes in photography. I think the digital quality of the new camera has its rewards, but there is that element of surprise from film that you just can't mimic.

*Mary* I suppose Kindle is okay. I can't really say because I've never used one. I have a friend who takes his everywhere. I just hope they never replace a book. While it seems like a cool idea it just doesn't have the tactile quality of actually holding a book.*mary*https://www.blogger.com/profile/18441748358984280917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6097922863697642143.post-9249915223842459252009-06-08T19:56:12.898-04:002009-06-08T19:56:12.898-04:00I like getting to know you and your family.

I don't like all the zooming around you have to do in order for the article to be large enough to read and I shouldn't need to learn any special skills just to read the freakin paper. So I'm sorry (not), but I like to hold a newspaper in my hands, just like a book (fuck the Kindle!).

So this means I only get to read my home-delivered paper on Thursday, Friday and Sunday. For a premium price I can get all days delivered (my hubby objects) or pick it up at a store (I don't go out much).

Can you tell I'm not a happy camper?Pop and Icehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09293232401852452071noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6097922863697642143.post-43637593653663442722009-06-08T01:16:43.761-04:002009-06-08T01:16:43.761-04:00Loc, What is depressing is that both of our occ...Loc, What is depressing is that both of our occupations are in that industry.Something Happened Somewhere Turninghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17897631770669843340noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6097922863697642143.post-48098376476455363762009-06-07T23:28:14.991-04:002009-06-07T23:28:14.991-04:00Very depressing really, although I guess life is c...Very depressing really, although I guess life is change.

Good postSultanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06506141014376919585noreply@blogger.com
