Your dad must have been remarkable.Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17480046958714954128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6097922863697642143.post-86022409012693444052009-05-27T19:13:37.598-04:002009-05-27T19:13:37.598-04:00Our stories are somewhat simular, and I really was...Our stories are somewhat simular, and I really was moved by your post. My dad that I barely knew, only because he died when I was 9, was military. I found out so much from my mom through the years that made me just think 'wow'. He had so much security clearance during the Korean war (he was in Greece) he couldnt' contact mother, but other people would contact her periodically and let her know he was still ok. He retired and taught at Fort Sill and that is where I was born. The miliary cemetaries are so regal and so reverant and I havent' been to Fort Silll in so long. But I can always walk right to his headstone, no matter how much time has gone by.

Thanks for sharing.Bj in Dallashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06515059469690597390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6097922863697642143.post-58814845089699607812009-05-27T18:05:50.354-04:002009-05-27T18:05:50.354-04:00LoC, Thank you very much

They are trying to compile information about everyone that received a purple heart. I don't know too much about it but you may want to give them a call - it's a very special place.knhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01612658633007520397noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6097922863697642143.post-63672045677928594352009-05-27T02:08:54.990-04:002009-05-27T02:08:54.990-04:00Well said.Well said.Sultanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06506141014376919585noreply@blogger.com
